NYC Fashion Week - Fall 2012

Yes it is that time. Fashion week kicked off this week baby! What I would do or sell to be there is unmentionable. The designers are presenting their fall 2012 collections. I know what you are thinking - "WTF Fall already? We haven't even escaped winter 2012 yet." Fashion as we know is forward though, constantly thinking of the future. So fall it is! I often wonder how designers can focus so far ahead, as all that floods my mind is my constant want and need for sun, sandals, and swimsuits! Either way collections are quite warm and wonderful, and music is always a potent presence! Runway soundtracks are typically a show's best trip, the music sets a mood and gets on lookers in gear. At Rebecca Minkoff, the runway soundtrack standard saw a new level set. New York's own, Theophilus London emerged from behind the white walls singing Stand Alone--(RIP How to Make it in America) . . .

Yummy leather clad lad . . .

More from Minkoff . . .

Dark elegance from Jason Wu . . .

Rag & Bone with a vintage vibe . . .

Girly Grunge from Rebecca Taylor . . .

Structure from Peter Som . . .

That's just a little preview to saturate your taste buds. I don't want to overshadow the significant summer up ahead! One thing is for sure, fur for fall 2012 is an ongoing theme. How revolutionary. ha!
